I’m finally back from my Taiwan trip.

It was very tiring, but yet fulfilling trip. Very satisfying trip overall.

Actually I've posted one entry last wk after my exams, but it was not published.. It was a rather long entry, i typed quite a fair bit, only to find out it wasn't printed.. I was pissed off, so decided not to post for a few days.. LOL!

Anyway, finished my exams last monday.. What a wonderful feeling to be on vacation.. No worries, nothing.. By the way, got my grade for my OB individual essay last wk. Got a HD for it, satisfied for my effort put in..

For the entire week, has been slacking, lazing around.. Looking forward to my tw trip next monday.. 21st may.. Hope there'll be great deals waiting for me.. Can't wait..

It's been like 5 days since i last blogged.. Just finished my Accounting paper on thursday.. Though there're alot of theory qns, but am still rather satisfied with my own performance, now wait for the results to be released in June. Hopefully can get expected grade..

After papers, went to geylang to collect goods for my indonesia client and had a hard time finding the kallang district park.. Turned round and round around kallang bahru. Found the place, drop the goods to the forwarder, and my favourite phrase.. "PANG KANG".. Went home and have a good rest as i didn't have enough sleep the night before. Slacked the night away though, i have the intention of doing my BS revision the next day.

So friday came, but i didn't revise much, as i went to Penisular plaza to collect my bank resolution from Ideal commercial. And the resolution cost me $50. In case, any of you din know, the bank resolution is done by the secretarial company for opening a fixed USD current account for my company. Cos will be doing some tradings with vietnam, so will be using USD$.

So went down to tampines telepark to open an account, when i reached there almost had a collision with a lorry driver. He CCB, drove so fast then almost cut into my lane, lucky i braked in time.. So i let him go first, then he almost go bang into another lorry at the other bend.. WAH, fuck him 10000x times.. Then i wanted to turn into the carpark, he also turn in, ended up he was refused entry into the car park.. LOL.. Serve him right..

Car park was quite empty, so found a lot very quickly, but had to wait for quite awhile before my turn, and i went home immediately i finished doing everything, so mentally drained.

So went to pick up my gf from work after the 9pm show. Damn the traffic, the whole stretch from Moulmein all the way to AMK ave. 1 forever FUCKING jam.. KNN.. cant they build a flyover like hougang, all the way to yishun? LOL!! My gf didn't had dinner, so stopped by kahtib there to buy the famous beehoon for her, bought 1 pack for myself as well. Must make sure i'm full to do my revision later.. So finished my supper at my gf place and headed home and started on my BS revision.. Finished on sampling theory, hypothesis testing.. So left the MCQs which i fear the most.. FUCKING HELL..

So today woke up late, due to the late night revision.. woke up 12pm.. Mom cooked porridge and finished it before i went to pick my gf and went to pizzahut.. As i had the HSBC card, got 1 for 1 offer.. Decided on Thomson plaza as it's on the way. The place so quite empty, so it's quite nice to dine there. It took like 15mins before the food came. Ordered 2 regular pizza, 1 Hawaiian pizza and 1 ocean catch. Both of us had 6 pieces each, lucky the crust is thin, so it wasn't so feeling, 6 pieces was just nice. :D

So shopped around the area for awhile and i sent gf home. Came home to watch the TWIN dragon show on channel 8.. Nice! It's going to finish soon, 4 more episodes.. Then watch jacky wu show on channel U.. After that carry on with my revision again. And here am i typing all these..

Alright, time to go, ciao.. Will update again when my exams finishes.. CANT WAIT for monday to come.

Hi guys,

Happy Labour day to everyone out there.

Alright it's been almost a week since i last updated. Well, perhaps i'm considered studying hard for my exams. Been chewing my OB textbook and slacking the whole of last week. Only study bits and pieces everyday, didn't really put in ALOT of effort in it. Hopefully i can do well. LOL! But come to think of it again, i hope i did good enough to get my distinction. So gave myself half a day off before i start preparing for my accounting battle.

So with 1 paper down, 2 to go. Looking towards next Monday and my TW trip at the end of the month.

Well, nothing to much to update either, cos most of the time are spent staring at my notes.

But this morning, my backside itchy. I was surfing net, happened to stumbled upon a link, so being curious i went to open the link. So in that it says my browser doesn't support this particular format, so asked me to install this activeX thingy. So upon installation, something was wrong. And i knew i kena tricked. CB, gotto waste my FUCK time to format my pc. End up i formatted my pc twice, because i cant double click and open my other drives beside my C:\. So damn pissed off, now dont know what to do with it. Ended up, i came up with this idea.

my desktop.. Too wide, so decide to save it this way.

Put all the shortcuts there, save the trouble of opening My computer.

Well, gotto practise my accounts already la. Will update again once my accounts paper is over..

Alright, it's already tue. 6 more days before the actual exams. Well, i'm actually hoping the exams to come sooner so i can finish it once and for all, rather than waiting for it. Exams coming here am i waiting for soccer to start at 2.45 am for the Champions League semi-final clash between manchester utd and ac milan.

Well, updates for today.

Went to airport alone this afternoon to study my OB. Today took a bus to airport, cos from my place there's a straight bus, what's more parking at airport is so expensive. Boarded the bus only to realised that my Ez-link card has expired, cannot be used anymore, and the ride cost me $1.30. Well fuck it, i'm going to T2 to eat popeye fried chicken. Anticipating it since last night when i read the thread at HWZForum. Once i reached T2, headed towards the restaurant level, but i couldn't find the damn place, i supposed the place closed down already, only left the one at the departure hall. I guess i can only try it when i leave for taiwan in may.

So disappointed as i was, i went to mcdonalds. Initially i was thinking of getting the double filet o fish. But i bought BIG MAC meal instead. Went to a corner to consume my meal before i took my OB textbook out to revise. The music was so noisy, lucky i brought my ipod mini along. So i studied while listening to my own music. It was going rather well, i read like 5 chapters? Which it took me 2 days to read that at home? My pace is rather slow, wonder if that will hinder me getting Distinctions for that. Shall not let that bother me, i'll just go at my leisurely pace and do my best. I always believe that as long as i put in effort to study, the results will show.

So studied for like 1hr, got a bit bored, so took out my macbook to surf the net for awhile. To my surprise, mcdonalds has no wifi connection for me to connect to. And the wifi connection which airport provides is by starhub, which i don't have any account. So just played FM for like 30mins, and continue to read my text till about 5.30pm. That's when i decided to call it a day. No point stay so long, and nothing goes into my head. 3hours of undisturbed reading, i feel was good enough to wrap it up for the day. In my mind, i was thinking of going back to hit the gym as i ate mcdonalds today. So sinful.

But i realised it was the wrong time to pack up as it was time when everyone knock off from work, so the bus stop was packed with people, everyone was waiting to go home. So just queued up and within 15mins the bus came. Lucky there's 2 bus so i have some space to go up the bus. (i fat what, what to do) Anyway, paid another $1.30 for the ride home. It took lik another 15mins before i reached home. Once i'm back, i got lazy again. I thought maybe go to the gym after dinner, instead i didn't.

oh gosh, daniel please force yourself to workout. Need to take IPPT soon.

Alright.. This morning stayed at home to revise abit of work before i meet my army friends [me, chua, ben, xiaobai, cheng, mok, neo, nicholas] for dinner tonight.

So i went to fetch Benjamin at bukit merah before heading to bugis to meet the rest at 6.15pm. Surprisely, everyone was early. So we headed to the streets to look for a place for dinner. We walked around and decided to settle at Chong Qing steamboat. $15/pax, so just 'ON'. Ordered mixed soup with chicken soup and mala (xiao la) soup, and the xiao la is damn spicy loh, mouth going to swollen liao. So after eating for like 45mins, my buddy finally reached and he came with nicholas. Oh god, nicholas look like some 70's hippy with those big sunglasses, almost didn't recognise him at all.

Anyway, we talked as we eat, haven't meet up with them for almost 6 months already, glad everyone is doing fine. So after eating for like 5-6 rounds, we decided to call it a day. Asked for the bill, total added up to $17/pax. Drink $1/can, not expensive. So we moved on to the next location, initially wanted to go to MIND cafe, but didn't know where the fuck is the one at bugis or MIND cafe didn't have any outlet at bugis. We went to TCC instead. We were assigned a round table, where we were managed to squeeze everyone in and Choon guan came over to meet us.

Talked about our past army life, laughing at each other's stupid mistakes. And soon alvin and colin came to meet us. So rather squeezy cos so many people. But it's not often that we have so many of us gathering together and talking rubbish and discussing about all those shit we went through together at 35SCE. Then called my gf, and she's at vivocity, so asked her to come over to bugis so i can send her back. When came out of the carpark, shit man.. parking $5++.. So expensive.. Haiz, driving is not cheap at all..

So at the same time longbang alvin, chua and cheng back as well cos on the way. On the way, keep talking rubbish with them on the car. Traffic was rather slow, but not to the extend of stopping most of the time. So didn't complain much. Soon dropping off alvin and chua, sent my gf up to her place. Then send cheng home, cos he stay behind my place only. So came back and took a quick shower, and writing this entry.

Sian, gotto wake up early later. My family going to mandai to bai my great grandmother.

Mixed feelings.

Woke up late today, missed the morning class. Well, didn't have any intentions of going today either. So just stayed home to do my own revision. Due to the problems which i encountered on my Dell 2405FPW, i called Dell up regarding my warranty issue. To my horror, they asked for the invoice/order number which i didn't have at all. So my monitor is gone shit if it does go bonkers. *Praying damn hard it works fine always*

Anyway, after lunch did a bit of my accounting past year paper. Quite manageable though, gotto practise more to perfect my accounts. Around 3, went to fetch my gf from work to my place, as we're going dinner with my mom and sister at Jacks' place tonight. My gf has redeemed a $20 voucher so gonna use it tonight.

So waited for my mom to finish work, and we headed to Century Square for dinner. Parked the car at TM, when we were at the 1st level, there is this hourly sales selling bedsheets. $11.90-$15.90 for a set of bedsheets. My mom bought 5 sets in the end. She said can keep it for Chinese New Year. LOL! Then they decided to shop around Isetan for a while before heading to Jacks Place.

Alright, reached Jacks place, not many people there for dinner yet. So proceed with our orders. Ordered 2 NZ Tenderloin steak, 1 Jacks Place special and 1 Prime ribeye for my mom. Waited quite awhile before the steaks came. When the 4 sets came, i was thinking WTF.. I even asked the waiter, why mine the most expensive, but yet it's the smallest portion? He couldn't answer me. But anyway fark it, i'm hungry just tuck in.

No doubt it's a small portion, but it's fat and juicy. After finishing the potato, and finishing my portion of steak, i was quite satisfied. Cos i was not too full, just nice to fill in the deserts. Ordered banana split and brownie. Nothing to shout about, deserts taste normal. Asked for the bill, so guessed it's about $100 after $20 discount. Indeed, it's $104.. So about $25/pax. Still ok for jacks place standard.

After dinner, took a short walk upstairs at metro, but nothing to shop for and feeling tired. I woke up at 11am, didn't go to the gym, yet i'm feeling tired. So decided to go back, so sent my gf back to Yishun before going home together with my mom and sister. So took a bath immediately and here am i typing all these again!

Alright guys, that's all for today. Shall go revise a bit more on my cash budget before i hit the sack. Platoon 2 mini gathering tomorrow. Haven't seen everyone for some time now.

Alright another day passed.

And i haven't really studied much today, other than the things i learnt from the accounting class this morning. At least i have a clearer picture on how to do break-even analysis. But still, i have a long way to go. Better buck up!!

Anyway, this morning woke up at 8am, sent my mom to work and headed for school. But fuck the damn traffic on PIE.

The moment i hit PIE, there is HEAVY traffic flow all the way to Paya Lebar.. Fine, every morning is like that so i'm used to it. But after toa payoh, towards stevens road jam again! Fucking hell, ended up there's a small accident in front.. Fucked up, don't know how they drive. Knn! After stevens road, it jammed all the way up to clementi ave. 6.

I am wondering what the fuck is wrong with the vehicles nowadays. Always accident.. Phuacheebye, always hog up the traffic, really hate to drive out and always stuck in traffic jams..

Took more than 1 hour to reach school. Lucky lecturer yet to start talking. Anyway did some exercises, was quite useful, cos managed to understand some parts of the breakeven analysis. That's good.. So after break, most of us left, or rather all of us. We went to megabytes to grab our lunch. Had vege pesto, not bad.. After which i went home, morning not enough sleep.

On the way back, petrol finishing. So went to the Caltax at tampines to pump some gas. Then shun bian pump my tyres, been like 4months since i last pumped.

Reached home, settled some of the company stuff which was waiting for me to follow up. Managed to settle everything at 2.30pm, spent a few overseas sms, next month hp bill, don't know how much liao.. So slack for awhile before i hit the gym. Did some weights, and ran the treadmill for 30mins.. Damn tired, stayed there for like 15mins to cool down and watch channel 8. Before leaving did a bit of weights and left.

Went back took a shower and surfed the net until 6pm, cannot take it. Went to take a nap, woke up at 8pm took my dinner and till now, i'm writing this shit here, rather than revising my work..

Dinner

Just finished dinner at my grandma's place. Had roasted duck, 2 soup, quite fulfilling i would say.

After dinner, sat around in the living talking with my aunts and uncle.. Was listening to my dad talking to my aunts about properties, stocks and some gossipings..

I find it quite amusing just to sit there and listen to their conversations. I tend to listen to what they say, and learn from what they say.. It's enriching for me.

But sad to say, my grandma's legs are getting from bad to worse, now she even have problems standing up after sitting for a long time. Just before chinese new year, i brought my grandma to the polyclinic to have her knees checked to get a referral letter to visit the specialist. But after visiting the specialist, she was given painkillers and physiotherapy to help improve her condition. But lately, it seem to get worse. My aunt is going to bring her to visit another specialist, and my family members are encouraging her to do a surgery if she has to.

So back home, here am i typing all these.. I'm going out soon.. Going to fetch my gf from work.. After which, come back do 1hr of revision and go lala land.

Morning class tomorrow. Hope chelsea slips tonight. :D

Well,

First time doing a blog thingy.. Kind of interesting though.

Anyway, Man Utd won 2-0 this morning. Congrats, 1 step closer to the league. Though i don't really support them over the last few years, but i do hope that they win this time round, to break chelsea's stronghold on the EPL. Hopefully they will be able to do the treble again. After which i guess wily old ferguson will retire for gd! N probably that'll be the end of Manchester United Football Club.

It's another lazy morning! Woke up at 9am, intending to start studying the whole day, but end up surfing the net alittle. After which had my breakfast, and went back to surf net and play FM.

Slack for a while, had my lunch and back to staring at my accounting notes. Oh god, please give me some motivation to study! I reckon my revision has been nothing but atrocious. Please wake up daniel! No time to spare.
